The Socially Awkward is a team of 2 based in Toronto, Ontario, Canada. We are currently working to release Sokodice, and is currently planning a new project. We also love to collaborate with friends, and frequent a lot of game jams.

History

The Socially Awkward, comprising of Lee Tran and James Patzmann, started off when the duo connected through a mutual love for video games while working in retail selling suits. The initial connection sparked when Lee identified a song that was playing on James’ iPod, much to the surprise of James (Wind Scene from Chrono Trigger, specifically). This initial conversation led to many long discussions of video game narratives, fan fiction sequels, and eventually, the participation of many game jams.
